First Fruit

Hello!  Long time, no see.

It’s been awhile since I blogged, because you know, life happens.

With Christmas fast approaching, I wanted to share a great way to find a gift and give to those in need at the same time!

What is First Fruit?

First Fruit is a sweet little shop on Instagram that sells beautiful crocheted hats, scarves, and other accessories with half of their profits going to an organization called World Vision.

What is World Vision?

They are a Christian humanitarian organization that works with children, families, and their communities worldwide, tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.  Just last year, World Vision reached 2.3 million people with improving clean water access.  That’s pretty amazing, and that only brushes the surface of what this organization does to help those in need around the world.

For more information go to their website here.

This is an example of what you can find at First Fruit:

Adorable, right?

The yarn used is very soft and warm for fall/winter wear.  It is well-made, and fits perfectly!  And notice the wiskers…so cute!

I love this logo stitched on the hat!

Calvin is enjoying his new fox hat, and doesn’t want me to take it off!

Where can I find more information?

How much does it cost?

The hat above is $14 (not including shipping) with $7 going to World Vision.
