Wrapped Braids

Step-By-Step Tutorial

This hairstyle is one I’ve been wearing a lot this summer.  It’s perfect for everyday style, but I prefer to wear my hair like this at a party or on a date.

To begin, divide your hair into two sections. Keep in mind that you don’t want your sections to show.

Now, braid the two sections and secure with a clear elastic band.  To add volume to your braids, you can pull on the pieces of the braids and it will create a fuller look.  This is especially helpful if you have fine hair like mine.

Take the braid from the right and bring it over to the left side so that it is laying above the other braid.  Secure with some bobby pins.

Then, bring the braid that you pinned underneath the braid that’s hanging down.  Secure it in place with several bobby pins, and tuck the ends underneath the braid.

Do the same thing with the other braid, but in the opposite direction.  Secure it in place with bobby pins.

Once the braid has been wrapped around, tuck the ends into the other braid and secure with several bobby pins.
