Transportation: Planes Week 3


Welcome to a new series about Transportation on Mustard Seed Family.  From April-June I will be sharing a variety of activities for your toddler/preschooler.  This series includes art projects, sensory play, outside activities, and field trips.

Today I’ll be sharing a some books and activities.

1. Amazing Airplanes by Tony Mitton and Ant Parker

This book explains how planes fly, safety rules, in-flight entertainment and air traffic control.

2. Airplane Flight: A Lift-The-Flap Adventure by Susanna Leonard Hill

This book includes 10 flaps that kids will enjoy opening.  A great read before flying with your children for the first time or the one-hundredth time!

 3. The Airport Book by Lisa Brown

This book follows a family on its way through the airport. From checking bags to security clearance and finally take off.

4. Airport

Each busy scene in this book contains things to look for and find, and there are over 70 flaps to lift.

5. The Little Airplane

This is a cute book about Pilot Small and his little red airplane.
