I love summer blooms, bonfires with friends, relaxing at the beach, biking around the lakes, and the smell of BBQ chicken sizzling on the grill. In the spirit of summer, I thought I’d share my summer treats.
First up is healthy.banana.split
My mouth waters just staring at that picture. It’s a banana with a large helping of vanilla greek yogurt, raspberries, blueberries, and mini chocolate chips.
Second “treat” is infused.water
Lemons and cucumbers are only one of the many possibilities for a refreshing summer drink. If you’re looking to skip the soda, this is a great substitute that doesn’t disappoint.
I’ve been cutting up fresh lemon and cucumber slices every morning and keep this pretty glass pitcher in the fridge. It makes me feel fancy even when I pour a glass in my sahm wardrobe covered in spit-up.
Last, but not least the.mini.fruit.tart
These are so delicious. I was bored one day (during naptime), and decided to try something new. It’s crackers, hazelnut spread, whipped cream, and a raspberry on top.
Oh, and you can’t just eat a couple. They are addictive like that. So beware. It’s an easy go-to treat when you don’t feel like making something from scratch.
