Questions:

1. What is your favorite verse about trusting God?

Psalm 112:7 “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.” I have this verse written out on paper and taped to my bathroom mirror and fridge in the kitchen.

2. Describe a time when God was teaching you to trust Him.

Deployment! That was definitely a time in my life where I had to trust God. So much was happening. My husband was gone to another country for 10 months. I worried about his safety, his life, the stress he was under and how it would be when he came home. I was home with the kids by myself. Everything was on my shoulders when it came to raising our kids, paying bills, yard work, up keep of the house and all the day to day activities. God brought us through it! I am closer to God now more than ever because I had to trust in God.

Count it joy…Really!?!

count it all joy

I have to pray over my thoughts. I can not dwell on destructive thinking. I must give every thought over to God. I must trust in Him to work all things out for me. I can’t do anything about it on my own.  Only He can. As I trust in God, more and more each day, He fills me with His peace. A peace that only He can give! He is our Prince of Peace!

I enjoyed this – and life can be quite challenging – trusting in God can be challenging too! Thanks for the reminder – Years ago – my husband and were both in the Navy and met at Roosy Roads, Puerto Rico. Blessings!
