#8: Malibu® Hard Water Wellness Shampoo

The characteristics of your water determine how well your shampoo and conditioner work.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, it is estimated that more than 85% of the water used by consumers in the US can be classified at some level of “hard” water.

So what is hard water? It’s the rainwater that passes through soft rocks (like limestone) and collects lots of minerals (calcium, magnesium, etc.) along the way.  Those minerals are hard on your hair.

Ever wonder why you have to use more soap or shampoo with hard water than with soft water?  It’s because the buildup of minerals makes it difficult for suds to form.

So you could keep wasting money on large amounts of shampoo, or you could try Malibu’s® Hard Water Wellness Shampoo!

It starts working right away!  I noticed a change after my first time using it.  It instantly transformed my hair from dry, drab and discolored to hair that was soft, shiny, and full of body.

I use this shampoo twice a week with my regular shampoo and conditioner.  As you can see from the picture, my bottle is half full.  The great news is that I purchased this bottle a year ago, so a little goes a very long way.  Ask your stylist where you can purchase this awesome product.  I believe Ulta sells the hard water wellness set which includes shampoo and conditioner.

I hope this product works for you!

Please stay tuned for #7 of my “Favorite Things” Countdown!
